Management Systems Implementation

EMS (ISO 14001)

We have consulted to several large international companies and assisted them in the design and implementation of their Environmental Management Systems based on the requirements of ISO 14001.

The expertise and track record for developing customised Environmental Management Systems resides with the DNF team. These EMS systems not only improve environmental performance but creates a basis for corporate reporting and triple bottom line functionality.

OHS (OHSAS 18001)

We have consulted to national companies and assisted them in the design and implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on the requirements of OHSAS 18001.

Training

Waste & Environmental Training

The need for the provision of accredited training is paramount in skills development. We have identified this priority and have thus positioned ourselves to provide accredited training in the waste and environmental sector by partnering with various accredited institutions.

We offer the services of skilled professional facilitators. Customised (non-accredited) training courses can also be developed to suit an organisation’s specific training requirements.

Additionally we offer the services of a multilingual skilled roadshow team to conduct training within communities and schools to reinforce the training.

Community-based Training

The need for community-based training has been recognised as a key need. We offer the services of skilled professional facilitators to conduct train-the-trainer courses to community facilitators. Customised facilitator kits can also be developed for these community based facilitators.

Additionally we offer the services of a multilingual skilled roadshow to conduct training with communities and schools to reinforce training.

Waste & Environmental Training Aides

We have identified this need and have developed various products that can be customised to client’s specific requirements.

Assessments & Monitoring

Environmental Management Plans

We have prepared and directed Environmental Management Plans for implementation and management of requirements specified in Records of Decision authorising activities listed to undertake the Environmental Impact Assessment regulations

Environmental Site Pollution

Remediation, reclamation and regeneration strategies – we advise on best method for clean-up or rehabilitation of sites which have been polluted.

Monitoring Programmes

We have developed customised water quality monitoring programmes for various clients based on their operations and risk to the environment.

Environmental Impact Assessments

We undertake Environmental Impact Assessments in accordance with published legislation.
