Glass Sand

GLASS IS ENDLESSLY RECYCLABLE

As a country we consume in excess of 3.1 million tons of glass per annum.

Glass can be recycled into new bottles again and again without any loss to quality.

Glass is for life, because bottles do not biodegrade in a landfill.

RECYCLED CRUSHED GLASS IN SANDBLASTING

Glass Sand abrasive is created by crushing, cleaning and grading recycled glass to produce a high quality blast media.

Glass Sand can be used as a wet or a dry blast abrasive to prepare or clean a surface while causing minimal damage to the underlying substrate.

RECYCLED CRUSHED GLASS IN SPORTS TURF

The sports turf industry is a major consumer of sand, and uses it in a wide range of applications. It is also an industry that is being challenged to find ways of reducing the environmental impact of its activities.

Glass Sand is proving to be a popular and effective way to demonstrate the industry’s environmental commitment.

Artificial Surfaces
Glass Sand can be used as a dressing blending perfectly with finished product.

Golf Bunkers
Glass Sand has a more consistent feel and is less prone to ‘plugging’ or ‘slumping‘.

Top Dressing
The predominantly green colour of Glass Sand is a distinct advantage particularly for divot repairs.
